The Shipyard is free to decide which is the best & cheaper way to transport the kit moulds,
Considering that, Up to 150’ only one container is needed to deliver one mould all around the world without the need of exceptional transport.
Compared to the traditional moulds, with the direct female moulds, the shipyard
can be ready for the first lamination at the same time needed to build
the male plug.
All MYD moulds are designed for the infusion & pre-preg building technology,
with particular care to the details of the structure.
(Iron Basement – Stations – Spacers – Battens – internal Covering – Flange).
The maximum precision of the global structure is obtained using power CAD software
and laser cutting machine with global tolerance of 0,1 mm.
The material, the thickness, and the dimension of any single part are calculated to obtain a strong and durable moulds.

At the moment the most used Hull & Deck female moulds are in South Africa,
SWS shipyard that has built 15 Sailing Boat of 100', made with infusion technology and using the mould also like an oven for the post-cure up to 80 °C.
All our moulds Kit are very easy and fast to dismount, and in respect of the environment the bigger % of the structure is made with recycled wood ♻︎
that don't need special waste disposal.
